Highlands Ranch Water's Turf Replacement Program offers competitive per-square-foot rebates for homeowners converting irrigated turf to either native ColoradoScape plantings or low-water grass alternatives. The program includes two recommended planting windows to set your new landscape up for success in Colorado's climate.

Low-Water Turf (Dog Tuff™ or Tahoma 31)

$1.50/sq ft
Min: 250 sq ftMax: 2,000 sq ftCap: $3,000

Requirements

  • Residential customers only; one rebate per customer per season
  • Minimum 250 sq ft; maximum 2,000 sq ft eligible per season
  • Area must contain at least 50% healthy, irrigated turf
  • HRCA or Solstice SACC design approval required before applying
  • Irrigation in converted area must be removed or redesigned
  • Work must be complete by November 1 of the application year

Application Process

  1. 01Obtain HRCA/SACC design approval for your new landscape plan
  2. 02Submit online application between March 1 and October 1
  3. 03Schedule initial site inspection with program administrator
  4. 04Complete the landscape conversion
  5. 05Pass final inspection and receive your rebate
